RE: @Sweetsssj : Sixth Day Eleventh Hour Selfvoting via a 13-Account Content Farm ?

in #steemit7 years ago (edited)

nope you can vote for your own articles or anyones in the 6th day the 1st day there is no rule about that or else you would NOT be allowed to VOTE on the 6th day....this is a proof of stake blockchain, that is her property not yours, youre like trying to tell a homeowner how they can make money with their home like your telling them they should not be renting out a basement because its shadey and hides the fact that your making money....

But I upvoted you 100% because you seemed polite enough and respectful about the situation, just wantd to point out the common misconception you had about 6 day voting, its a lie that its somehow shadey to vote on the 67th day, if it was wrong they would have disabled 6th day voting in the code, see what I mean? the whole thing about the visibility is an invalid concept its an assumption a very loose one, its just a rumor a meme people spread like a virus from brain to brain until people like me spray the colloidal silver of truth INFOWARS life will also be on steem as a smart media token soon by teh way

Thanks for the vote and reasonable response. As a newcomer, I worry about saying the wrong thing.

One point I'd like to make is to separate the law/code from ethics a little. We should be able to discuss that things are right or wrong in a way that's independent of the rules.

I don't want a platform (or a legal system) that has rules to dictate every moral choice I might make - just the opposite (because that sounds like it would suck, really badly). But that doesn't mean we can't have well-reasoned opinions and discussions on what counts as a more or less ethical course of action.

This is a complicated situation, one that doesn't reduce neatly to one particular issue once you consider the details.
