That little fact is the biggest single reason why supposedly decentralized steemit is actually whalecentralized. It means that if whale likes your post, you get good reward but if only minnows like your post, you get scraps.
Thank you. Steemit is similar to a shareholder company. The more one owns the more voting power one gets. So yes it is whalecentralized voting if it is comes to earnings. I am happy about upvotes the more the better.
