RE: Time for a break...

in #steem7 years ago (edited)

I too appreciate your activity here, the importance of your posts, comments and replies, your measure of involvement and care, and only became aware of your existence yesterday.
This is still good, since I am now aware of your existence and know how to follow you on other platforms, but worse than if I was aware of your existence since joining, but I guess I had to know you somewhere.
One of this platform's best if not the best, and a must to follow.
This place will deteriorate further if you will leave, and I hope you will not leave, or at least return if and when the problems you alarmed about will be fixed.
Consider this too before and after you leave, in case you will leave:
Your presence here helps you increase your exposure and following on other platforms as well, so in addition to the direct financial incentive, you have more reasons.
I as an example, may have never became aware of your existence and value, had it not for both of our presences here, or I might have found you still, about 35 years later than I did.
I suffer a lot from steemd.com's malfunctioning myself, because I use it often due to its wholistic grasp of the entire information in this platform and timing of votes and posts.
These people are probably bad, but are you sure that your alarms reached them?
Maybe they did not, and in such a case is it even true to call it ignoring?

Sorry, but I have to leave because this is sucking up so much of my energy I am not getting anything else, much more important, done. Also, if my leaving has any relation to the place catching fire, it is simply that it already was on fire, but they had been pointing at the smoke and calling it progress.

I am going to start up a blog site running off my own VPS server, this is my assigned task for the day. Once it's up, I will be changing my profiles to direct people there, and making a post on both profiles to announce that I am moving my chatter to that location. I need to keep people up to date with what's happening with DIV, and I am quite sure that there is going to soon be outage issues with the various websites and applications, unless by some miracle, Steemit, Inc has pulled their fingers out, hired at least 5 new front and backend coders, and completely re-engineered the database backend.

Maybe they are doing that now, but it's too late, as far as I'm concerned. There is going to be a massive problem for at least a few days very soon, with no exchangers operating, and no RPC functioning, all at once. It's just a matter of time, the holes are all there, they just need to line up.

@nextgencrypto so, after whining that you couldn't build the steemd, i presume that you got it running, and premined, and now you think your shit don't stink.

It seems this might confirm in my mind what you've been saying:

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!

nothing to see here, move along.
