Sorry about that, and sorry to everyone who actually enjoys what I post here. But I'm so tired of being the only one who actually talks about the reality. They all hate me because I'm 'making them look bad' - which is what they deserve, when they are doing bad things.

The last time I had someone tell me that my actions were 'making us look bad', the next day I walked out of that job permanently. I had been struggling with a very difficult issue with a client, and it had been repeatedly asked by me for help with this issue because it seemed like the client's machine was being controlled by another company. I did my best to work around this issue, which of course I could not fix because of hard wired profile configurations that I could at best only disable while they were logged in.

After dealing with that one for 2 days in a row, and repeatedly asking for help to sort it out, then it's my fault that I did my best to help the customer, and I was making the company look bad.

Newsflash to the premined assholes and Stink:

When you do bad things, you look bad. It's not the fault of the person who is trying to bring this to the attention of the community.

I enjoy all I've learned from you. All I can say is that I feel like your presentation makes the information inaccessible. I don't assume wrong intent from any of the people who create this experience for me to enjoy. <3 blessings.

I have to agree. I am more guilty than most of ascribing to malice what is more likely to be stupidity. From doing this a lot, I have learned there's no point in assuming an accusatory tone. For one thing, it makes it much more difficult to get information from suspects.

However, I cannot claim to be certain of malice in this context. I reckon it's possible, and the SEC will sort it out, or at least claim some victims. At this point, CYA should be top priority for them as premined Steem.

@elfspice has made some very good points, albeit with little tact.

recall that the SEC decision to treat crypto-currency as a security is new, and not universal....

I do consider this, and it's relevant. Were the SEC to be considering a new regulation, prior acts would be exempt from that. However, they are just stating that they have authority to regulate securities, and point out that cryptos that perform as securities are subject to their authority.

Steem is, because voting is based on SP holdings. It is a security. Since there is no new regulation, the SEC can apply it's authority to acts prior to this announcement.

That means that premining the Steem and then offering it to the public is a violation of the SEC's rules, and those that have done so remain under threat of SEC prosecution in the USA.

This is an issue that Steemit needs to address, not only regarding premining, but also looking to reduce the entangling regulations that can impact users. I'd prefer to avoid such entanglements. I reckon most folks would too.

this topic definitely deserves a post of it's own.... not sure if I'm the one to handle it. However, if you decide to write an article covering this issue, I will resteem ect. Especially based upon this well written and thoughtful comment

LOL I just wanna write about bunnies, duckies, and flowers =P Somehow, I ended up here...

I saw the post by @benjojo, resteemed and followed too. I hope this does get addressed soon. @furion posted (I also resteemed that) regarding the RPC issue, too.

I also wanna be on Steemit decades from now. I do think Steemit has potential that certain issues regarding vote weighting are strongly repressing, and the current flagging debate highlights some of the ways in which Steemit is failing to attain the full degree of it's potential.

Imma hafta follow you now. You seem too lucid to continue to rely on chance conversations!

Thanks, friend.

these are concerning issues that elfspice brings up and I hope they are addressed by devs\founders. I plan on being here 10 years from now :)

this is a relevant article to some of the other expressed concerns which ned has responded to...

The lack of tact has come from the endless lies and accusations of me being incompetent, and lying, and fudding. Guess what, I was right. https://steemit.com/steem/@furion/updates-on-steem-python-steemdata-and-the-node-situation go read it for yourself.

I actually resteemed that article lol.

While I don't deny that those kinds of pressures have made me lose my cool more than once, that's actually not true.

Nothing, and nobody, can make me do anything. I lost my cool, regardless of what anyone else did. I alone am responsible for my acts and words, as I alone have authority to execute them.

I do not condemn you for anything. I am not your judge, nor your teacher. But I must consider the issues you discuss in the words you use to discuss them, and, believe it or not, it is easier to fault those that have wronged you if you simply state relevant facts, and leave the judgement to the readers.

Ad hominem attacks are something I do not find compelling when applied to me, in fact they strengthen my resolve. I therefore do not find them useful in disputes, because I reckon they do the same to others.

They also clutter technical discussion, which for me is a challenge to wrap my head around.

So, I am not condemning you in any way, but would probably have a better understanding of the particular issues you have raised were there less name-calling and wrathful language.

Totally valid points... The pareto principle is very important when it comes to anger. There is very many good reasons to be angry, but at some point, it's all problem, and it should be 20% problem 80% solution...

How exactly do I present the simple fact that there is a bunch of lying, scamming cunts running this system, that they have been lying to everyone, that there is a whole bunch of them, all painting the world in candy frosting and meanwhile, inside candy mountain, the surgeons are waiting for you to donate your kidney.

Come on, if you can show me how to present such horrible news 'tactfully' and 'nicely' then I'll happily study your methods.
