They JUST traded for a one time use themselves... It didn't grant them unlimited use or anything.

You JUST traded to get a water purification tablet for this round.
You don't have tablets to give out or trade with other people.
I think it should work since the trade is based on the quantity that is given out and since people who have the tablets can trade multiple times.
Nonetheless, it would be good of @papa-pepper to confirm.
