Need a Drink Barter Barn - Steem Pocalypse Discussion Room
This is a Steem-Pocalypse side bar post, if you are not playing @papa-pepper 's survival game, it doesn't really apply, but if you are feeling generous, feel free to upvote it! 8-D
Greetings all!!!
I am creating this post as a cleaner way to discuss trades or exchanges for water purification tablets. This will keep the regular gameplay post and @novaatebatman 's job a lot cleaner!!
Our team, Northern Ghosts, has Water Purification tablets.
Our NEED / first choice is to trade for a food ration .... We will trade water purification tablets enough for 1 player or a team FOR 1 food ration.
If you offer us a food ration, you don't need to wait for our reply....IT IS A GUARANTEED DEAL. Post your commitment here, and it is a deal. I will just comment with "yes, thank you" tomorrow when I wake up.
We will trade enough for one person to drink for 1 rifle bullet. Or, enough for a team to drink for 2 rifle bullets or a magnesium fire starter. (Same is true here too....if you offer us according to our trade requirements, It Is A Guaranteed Trade! No need to wait for my reply.)
Here is the list of supplies we have if you think you may have anything else to trade.
We have:
a rifle with 6 rounds of ammunition, a knife, a flashlight, a note (to give to a lucky stranger), a Plant Field Guide and water purification tablets.
Everyone can use this post, placing their own offers for trade, etc.
Also, if you are looking for a team member you can discuss and plan that here as well...no sense in running everywhere.

Wow. You're just going to arbitrarily start crap with me, because you've taken it upon yourself to be the Steemit etiquette police? Dude, I just want to play this game in peace. This post is the most interacting I've done with my fellow players since the game started. I can't believe you're going to criticize me for who I do and don't upvote. If you must know, I try to keep my upvotes strictly to the game post itself on Steempocalypse, because upvotes can move posts around, and I don't want to do something that puts them all in a confusing order.
Besides that, if it's any of your business (which it isn't), I didn't notice the upvotes at all, and I have no idea what my voting power is, either. I haven't checked it in a long time. These just aren't things I pay much attention to, unless it's on an original post I've made. I also make it a point to upvote any comment someone puts on one of my original posts. It's too much jumping around to tell who is upvoting my comments on other people's posts. I really just didn't notice.
I'm not technically getting free things, either. I'm making trades. I could have kept all the tablets to myself and not traded with anyone, but I didn't. I chose to give some people a chance this round by trading.
However, I will dole out some upvotes, as you seem bothered by it. I'm just playing the game. The upvote thing isn't really a factor for me, except I do always give @papa-pepper a 100% upvote on each new Steempocalypse post. I even continued doing this after I was eliminated last season....just so you know.

Sorta throwing away 9 votes that you could give to anyone.
By voting more it doesn't take anything away from your account or anything.....you lose nothing, but helps others out.
I just found it odd. You were more than happy to make trades that cost you nothing (you give up nothing in this trade. ) ......AND no one will go without water tablets if they are willing to giveup something. Either I, or one of the 2-3 other players will make the trade.
Anyway, I only noticed because no one you traded with was getting an upvote...even after they upvoted you.
Maybe it would be nice IF YOU DID THINK ABOUT AND NOTICE these things. But you certainly don't have to. It is a free system.
It is also very transparent... everything gets recorded on the blockchain.
So I was just pointing out something I noticed.

Yes, I'm aware everything gets recorded on the blockchain. It's one of the first things I learned about when I joined Steemit a year ago. I don't know how to look up anything on the blockchain, nor am I interested in doing so. Looking up what other people are doing isn't why I'm here.
I also don't spend all of my time on here. As a freelance writer, I'm mostly writing for clients, or working on my novels, both writing and marketing. When I DO have some spare time, I put an article up here, and, as I said, I upvote EVERYONE who comments on it. If I have a LOT of free time, I browse the "New" section, and upvote people there who write things that interest me.
And, I periodically go through my feed of the people I follow and upvote them all, just for support, because I like to. I haven't done it in a week or two, but I do it whenever I have the chance. I'm not being stingy with my upvotes by any means. I just don't spend as much time here as others do.

You JUST traded to get a water purification tablet for this round.
You don't have tablets to give out or trade with other people.
I think it should work since the trade is based on the quantity that is given out and since people who have the tablets can trade multiple times.
Nonetheless, it would be good of @papa-pepper to confirm.

Hi everyone, I have gas, a pistol with 8 rounds of ammunition, a flashlight, a PLANT FIELD GUIDE and a NOTE. I am looking to team up with some body who has a water purification tablet.
