Reality Is Realistic: Is Paying To Create The Most Lethal Weapons Personal Responsibility?
Of course, this raises the question: why are world citizens accepting to pay for an arm race that will end up with a co-lateral nuclear holocaust?
These weapons will be used at some point... no if but when.

U.S. Military's Most Powerful Cannon - Electromagnetic Railgun - Shoots 100 miles - Mach 7
Many people have problems with the big picture and prefer to think that there are things they can't do anything against, because understanding the "unsustainable dream world" will require to lose one's shirt in the process. This fear is linked to which associating oneself to one's possessions. Materialism.
Just like supporting transhumanism while not seeing any problem with web of "mass surveillance" getting bigger and more powerful by the day, because attaining immortality is all what matters.
NOTHING TO HIDE documentary (English, full film HD)
Human competition is anti-human rights, and the arm race to create the most lethal weapons ever proves it. Where is the point if human creativity builds bridges, roads, hospitals, schools, etc if all this is bound to be destroyed at some point. Capitalism calls it "creative destruction" but this theory is overly simplistic.
The Earth Custodians premise begs to defer, as it advocates for society's rebirth from scratch with minimal shocks to the structure, should at least 60% or so of population understand the stakes and the real causation of the impasse.
Indeed there are only 2 choices out there:
1) forced reconstruction (by lethal weapons)
2) voluntary reconstruction and letting go a system that has never recognized human sovereignty

STRIKE ANYWHERE ON EARTH WITHIN HOURS: RACE TO CREATE WORLD'S MOST LETHAL WEAPON | According to the Washington Free Beacon, the Advanced Hypersonic Weapon is being developed as a joint project between the Army Space and Missile Defense Command and the Army Forces Strategic Command to form the Pentagon's Prompt Global Strike initiative. The Defense Department wants a weapon that can strike targets anywhere in the world within hours using a conventionally armed missile traveling at Mach 5 or 3,500 miles an hour. The missile would be used to hit terrorist targets identified on satellites thousands of miles away or weapons of mass destruction being moved in open ground that only have a small window within which to strike. The disastrous abort of the Advanced Hypersonic Weapon in Alasak follows a failed test by the Chinese military of a similar system. The Wu-14 missile is being developed by China to launch nuclear warheads or to strike ships and is being designed to travel at speeds of up to Mach 10 or 8,000 miles-an-hour.Hong Kong’s South China Morning Post, said that the Chinese test of the Wu-14 three weeks ago failed in similar circumstances to the American test. According to the Washington Free Beacon, Russia too is attempting to develop its own hypersonic weapon. Source: Washington Free Beacon

Those railguns are sweet! Pure kinetic energy weapon. Economical too.
"Creative destruction" is not a model or anything that has anything to do with capitalism. Capitalism is the use of capital to increase prosperity.
Everybody just stop. Stop sponsor the war, so simple.
You have a nice sentiment, but how to stop our governments from warring? They do it without our permission. They get all the money they need to pay for it from central banks. They don't even need to raise taxes. We pay for it through inflation.
simple... not so simple...
there are a few things many humans want to satisfy at whatever cost: money, war and sex
It is conditioning nonetheless. The good news is that it is not set in stone, can be changed so humans can find about their true human nature.
