Staying fit / Stretching

Hello guys, its another opportunity on my part to share my entry in this contest today which is organised by @marvinvelasquez in the SLC for season 22 week 1. The topic today talks about Staying fit / Stretching.

The topic is a very nice one as it is practical oriented and it's my pleasure to share my experience while carrying out the task provided in this week's contest. Without further ado let's look at the questions that comes with this week's challenge.

It is mandatory to wear sports clothing or apparel when making the video.

As requested by the instructor one is required to wear sport clothing while carrying out this task. I wore a jersey and a short but didn't have Stoke in and since it is carried out in a soft floor I didn't also wore shoes to carry out the task because the floor can be slippery sometimes.

So in the video you see above you will notice me well dressed as I perform the exercise one after the other following the instructions of the tutor. I was able to do each and every single exercise given in the tutorial.

As requested also I have combined all of them in a single video which I have uploaded above. The task are all very interesting and it really made the entire system to feel relieved while carrying out the stretching.

Describe your personal step-by-step process in your own words.

From the tutorial and the class presented by the professor, there are 6 different exercises namely Neck stretch, Shoulder stretch, Lower back stretch, Upper back and chest stretch, Full back and back of legs stretch and Full leg stretch. Now I will explain briefly step by step procedure for each.

Neck Stretch: During this exercise I was able to use my hand and hold my head and shifted it one side as you can see from the video and I remain like that for about 10 seconds. I did that to the right, left backward and front.

Shoulder stretch: In the case of the Shoulder stretch, I went down a little with my hands crossed and then bend a little after a while I went up again and stretch my hands backward. This was to allow the bones around the shoulder region to be strengthened. You can see that clearly from the uploaded video above.

Lower back stretch: Here also I was able to stretch my back by putting my hands together and moving in left and right direction as you can see from the video. This was to allow bones within the lower back region to be completely stretched.

Upper back and chest stretch: Bringing my hands also in front and bending it to be straight is another thing I did during the exercise as you can see from the video above.

Full back and back of legs stretch: From the video you can see that I had a full bend stretch where my back went completely down with my hands almost at the floor. This was to strengthen the bones around the back region.

Full leg stretch: The full leg stretch as you can see is an exercise that requires me stretching the leg in both directions as in the above video also holding it upward for some moment ideally 10 seconds.

What areas of your body did you feel tense? Share your experience.

While carrying out the Upper back and chest stretch where the bones in my back and around my chest was stretched, I feel very tensed. This is because it has been a while I carried out such an exercise. While doing it I heard the entire bones within my back responding and it was as though all the muscles within the location were awaken from sleep.

This made me feel a little uncomfortable within my system during the performance of that very exercise. After carrying out this very exercise, I rested for a while before I continued because I heard all my system responding to the stretch I made.

So the chest and my back where the key areas I felt tense and that made me to rest a little before going ahead to perform another task. In all I felt pain around d those area because of lack of usually performing such a task.

Do you think stretching is beneficial or for you? Explain your answer.

I think that stretching is very beneficial to us all. It has been a while I carried out stretching and general exercise of my body because of the many schedule I was having these past few days but thank God for this contest that made me to create time out of my tight schedule to perform this function.

When I carried out this stretching exercises what I noticed with my body was I became very light and the heavyness I was feeling within my body disappeared. It is as though a heavy load has been lifted off my shoulder.

Stretching which is one among the many exercise we have as humans works like magic when it comes to making our bodies free and less heavy. After carrying out the task one after the other I felt a complete difference within my system.

Of all the techniques applied, which one would you choose for a personal exercise routine? Explain why.

All the techniques are very beautiful and I enjoy d them all but the one I will do daily as a my personal routine is the full leg stretch. When carrying out this exercise I noticed that every part of my body got involved in the task because I had to strike a balance within myself so that I don't fall down when trying to perform the task.

The full leg stretch as you can see from the video I have shared help me to strengthen the muscles with the legs as I take the leg to different directions. Also, I notice that the muscles within my body also responded since I needed a good balance to carry out the exercise.

When I finished the exercise I felt very relief and my entire body system became lighter and it was as though I should start the exercise all over again because I was very strong and even better than the way I was when I started the task in the beginning. The exercise serve as a fuel to do more task.

La constancia es fundamental para ver resultados positivos en las dinámicas deportivas que realizamos. Por ello, aunque cada estiramiento se realicen en tan solo diez segundos, si esto se aplica diariamente, con el paso del tiempo notaremos que nuestros músculos se fortalecen al igual que, tenemos mejor flexibilidad.
