RE: “I Created It, No Body Made Me Play” – My Addiction: How to conquer who you truly want to be.
This is a good post sir :) I've struggled with a few forms of addiction through parts of my life, and it can be very hard to break away. But i definitely agree with your approach to this! Keep strong man, and ill be checking out your updates!
In my opinion, what you are breaking away from (as it is stealing your time and life etc from you) will make you feel so much better within a week or two. Dont lose heart, and keep fighting the good fight man!
@JMB, thanks much for the reply, it means a lot that someone has gotten something useful out of my best ability to articulate something that isn't so easy, so thanks a ton!
Additionally, I appreciate the support. I will leave a post tomorrow for what will be my first time coming home and not having even an option to pursue them. I also look forward to checking your content out some more when i get home from work!
Will be in touch ,
My pleasure and I look forward to it :)
As for my content, I just started using Steemit a handful of nights ago, so the amount of content I have isn't great, but I'm hoping to make content that is worthwhile and meaningful:)
Talk to you later,

It feels really nice to have someone to share details with about similar or even different topics. I have no doubt we can help one another with not only thoughts but support and resteems! If you have a messenger of some sort, maybe whats app or Facebook, we can surely connect a little more quickly as we dive in to some more steem content!
My next post on the addiction article will be available in a couple of hours, nothing too lengthy like the first article, feel free to check it out!
Cheers,

Sounds great man, and ironically enough Facebook was an addiction for me, so i ditched it about a year and a half ago :-D but ill go ahead and get whats app. its nice to have someone to share thoughts with, as well as someone to learn Steemit with. if i dont get to read your next article tonight i will tomorrow.
cheers till next time man! :-)
Hey buddy, lol oh the irony. Good stuff, I truly don't engage in it anymore than a messenger , but i completely understand! :D I think you may still need a number for that, feel free to email me? Article is up now, sorry its a bit behind.
Cheers,

Very good article!
And I agree. When you put your bad habits in the context of time lost then it seems to sting just a little bit more than trying to sway yourself in other ways.
Addiction is a real disease that people live with and coming from the medical community, I am not trying to use the word disease to try to make it seem worse than it is.
People have been suffering from addiction for a long time and it can have very negative effects on one's true will.
Do you think that it may have to do with a lack of definition of one's own true will?
Or
Perhaps it is the seeking (but entrapment) of one's own true will when bad addictions need to be overcome?
Any good philosophers out there who have dealt with this?
