As of last week or so he was still denying the earth was round, but it looks like he's planning to go back up with larger rockets that will actually get him into space. Which means, I guess, this was more of a test run than actual opportunity to observe anything. So, at least it sounds like he's concerned for his safety.

He's quoted in a Forbes article as saying that the doesn't believe in science, but he does know about aerodynamics and fluid dynamics and how things move through the air. Maybe that's supposed to mean he's okay with science within the earth's atmosphere, but not so much outside of it. Science ends where space begins?

I keep running into articles or posts about/from these folks. I didn't realize there were people who believed the earth was more like a disc, or at least flat, and I didn't realize that there were more than one. It's amazing what I learn around here.
