Why not start a trip today? Have the purpose of knowing and experiencing the love of God. Then decide to share that love with others, even if they do not deserve it, because God first loved us, when we did not deserve it. By doing that, you do not give anyone the key to your self-esteem. Instead, you draw from the love that God gives you for your sense of transcendence and self-esteem.
