Heaven is for real - by @bigbear
Today I am writing about a lady who felt she could not tell anyone except her husband about her experience in heaven.
She was in her sixties and got very sick. She lives with her husband in a Michigan on a horse farm. She was brought up as a Christian but says she actually really became one at the age of 19 years old. She was so humbled by this experience that she did not feel as if she could talk about it.
Fourteen years ago, while she slept in the middle of the night, Carol says she was transported to the “edge” of heaven. She had been suffering with a life-threatening gastrointestinal disease that led to a hospitalization immediately before her experience.
Fire, lightning, thunder and water swirled around her as she landed on the floor of Paradise with a “whoosh.” “It was scary and exhilarating all at the same time,” she recounts. “I instantly knew I was in heaven.
She says suddenly she had this incredible peace of emotions, just as we are told in the bible as there will be no more hunger or tears or pains in heaven.
Still the point is we have to live here on earth the way we are expected to have this experience.
To her left stood and angel like a soldier and he did not look as if he had wings, more like someone having to watch over something.
She heard water like a river that she called Rushing River, all this happened as she was standing on a path of pure gold like you have never seen and it was sort of moving like waves. The sound she heard was actually not water it was The Lord coming her way.
She says he was so beautiful and his eyes looked into her soul and she had no doubt that he was the Lord of Lords and King of Kings. He was also wearing a soft white linen gown and all he did was look at her.
She loves butterflies and saw the most beautiful blue butterflies like ones she had never seen before. There were the most beautiful flowers.
She also saw the most beautiful shine like no sunset on earth that you can imagine with lots of colours. Then just as fast as she was taken to heaven she was back in her bed. She says she lay there in a fetal position, and could not believe what had happened to her. It took her a few days before she could tell her husband about her experience. But it took her more than six months to tell the rest of her relations.
The next spring she visited a show that is held every year for butterfly lovers and to her amazement there were the same blue butterflies that she had seen in heaven.
Many years later she heard about “Heaven is for real” about a four year old boy called Colton Burpo who had a similar experience as she had and came back to tell his family about God.
This child was asked what does he look like and it was very difficult for him to explain.
His parents heard about an artist who had the same experience and she made a painting of God from memory. When his parents showed him the picture he said, that is him that is what he looks like.
A friend told her that their book shop had a copy of the picture and she could not wait to see it.
The artist Akiane Kramarik was only 8 years old when she painted this wonderful painting of the Lord of Lords
Here is a video on her paintings where there were more than 200 paintings that is visions that is sent to her.
To me there can be no brighter idea and light than this painting and what we read here about our Father and Lord.
One night, I had a glimpse of heaven in a dream. Everything my senses took in - sights, sounds, aromas, and tactile sensations were intensified, beautiful and tangible. There was a depth of feeling and peace. Thank you for your article which sparked my memory of my experience in heaven.
Great article @brightideas!! I read the book about Colton Burpo and as I recall his parents, wanting to know what Jesus looked like, had shown Colton a number of pictures of Jesus and each time he said NO! Then they heard about Akiane Kramarik's painting of Jesus and showed that to Colton and little Colton got all excited and said YES!! That's what Jesus looks like! Thanks for sharing! Now following!
World is full of people with different beliefs and in all these respected beliefs concept and truth of heaven is common. It is such a shame when all beliefs have love in common and atleast the Heaven where everybody wants to go use all other negative interpretations to let eachother down. Heaven is a truth. All good work here gets counted for Its cause for all of us
Thanks
Nice post @brightideas
Yes,,
Very nice post thank you @brightideas
I’m French and I’ve just posted about religion too
I am new on Steemit.
This was a fascinating read. Sounded just like "Slaughter House five" by "Kurt Vonnegut". If people have experience it, I believe heaven does exist. The painting looked so perfect. Immaculate representation of God. Great writing. Keep writing stuff that gives readers goosebumps. By the way, I write. You can check my blog and upvote if you like anything. Would really appreciate your support.
What a really powerful and intriguing write up.
I just followed you, you can do likewise
@orisfina
That fact is really true.
I see this woman to be perfect as an angel.
How can she get an amazing experience about heaven?
Lol.. Thats so shocking.
es real jesus dijo en la casa de mi padre muchas moradas hay, y juan vio descender la nueva jerusalen descender del cielo sus calles de oro y mares de cristal, y jesus tambien dijo q solo los que hicieren la voluntad de su padre entrarian en ella
@brightideas heaven is real. I have heard many testimonies in different shades and cadences. Like the case of Lazarus and the Rich Man's case in the Bible, the rich man saw the world beyond but had no opportunty to come back and share with us. But Grace and mercy has made it possible for many to witness the grandeur of heaven...
One thing has always been consistent about everyone that had this experience. And it is about the serenity, shapeliness, and camaraderie of heaven's atmosphere.
Heaven is so so real.
I pity al those who think its a fiction.
I pray that God helps us to get there in Jesus name
