I have been farming for automated votes lately. Initially, it was just to show, how easy the current 'automated curation' can be gamed. But after a while, I am beginning to like it; It's just too easy.

This morning I caught myself being afraid to lose those votes. I got corrupted.

Steem used to be unpredictable, now I can calculate my weekly earnings in Steem. My rewards depend on how often I post, who I voted for in between, how much Steem Power I have, where I post, but not what I actually post - Had I gone through the trouble of taking 1000 pictures of the same fucking flower last summer, I would have enough material to quite literally (flower) farm the soul out of Steem.

I haven't though and I fear getting blacklisted by those bots now.
I don't feel like putting much effort into posts or curation anymore, but now that I had a taste of those exploits, I don't want to stop farming either.

I blame linear rewards (and my lack of discipline). It's incredibly frustrating.
