Take 5: Chilling with nature

The internet and modern technology has so much to offer us...

...and it's wonderful. It's led us to places like Steemit! But sometimes it really helps to step back. Being in nature is amazing. Dr Richardson, at the University of Derby says

" there is already research evidence that exposure to nature can reduce hypertension (abnormally high blood pressure), respiratory tract and cardiovascular illnesses; improve vitality and mood; benefit issues of mental wellbeing such as anxiety; and restore attention capacity and mental fatigue. But more than that, feeling a part of nature has been shown to significantly correlate with life satisfaction, vitality, meaningfulness, happiness, mindfulness, and lower cognitive anxiety."  credit

So if you can, get outside and have 5 minutes in nature, even if it's just a couple of trees or  some birds sitting on a fence, or a few insects climbing up your wall. You could also check out this seriously beautiful video, with music by a guy called Brian Eno. I hadn't heard of him until recently, but he seems to have done some amazing work!

I know you're a busy Steemian, but why don't you sit back, expand this video and just be with nature for the next 3 minutes and 24 seconds as an experiment?

Did you do it? If so, what did you notice?

Man it's bad. It's only 3 minutes, but it feels hard to sit and just settle with it without doing something (like writing this while the music is playing, which kind of defeats the purpose... Beautiful video though!
