I felt the same way after I was divorced from my first wife, and although it was bad, I felt relief, and then after 10 years of single life, I met the most wonderful lady, my current wife. We must always know God has a plan for us, sometimes we don't know why we must suffer, but looking back we can see what the reason was and what we had to learn through the experience!!
