A meal for my sister
Living in a country that is not yours is an experience like no other. But living away from the family that was always by your side is not easy, although we can adapt.
My sister lives 342 km from the place where I currently live, and after 5 long months without seeing her, she finally came to visit us.
She came to visit with another person who is like another sister. That makes me remember what is written in the Bible in the book of proverbs: "There are friends who are not friends, and there are friends who are more than brothers. "And definitely, this is a case of those.
Upon arrival, we begin to prepare a drink that here in Chile called "Michelada", which is a beer mixed with salt and lemon in a glass with the edge covered with lemon, salt and some add Merkel: A type of chili pepper Spicy powder.
The dish to prepare is called "Chorrillana". It consists of a base of fried potatoes on which minced meat is placed (in this case we use beef and pork) with sausages, all grilled with onions cut in julienne and some seasonings to season.
The steps to prepare this? I will detail it below so you can prepare it; I know they will like it and surely @zord189 will try to do it because it is really delicious.
The first thing is to cut the meat into small pieces and add some soy sauce, salt, and garlic. We prepare a seasoning that has garlic, salt, oregano, cumin, curry and black pepper that gives a spectacular flavor to everything we cook and is what we always use to season as good Venezuelans.
The sausages cut them when they are already cooked.

Hi @oneray. Good food and family. A winning combination. The dish looks easy to prepare and delicious. You have a nice looking family. You should be proud. I know you all had a great time.
Thanks for sharing your celebration with your sister's visit.
Thanks. They were very happy.
Next month there will be a birthday :) with karaoke :)
Thanks for the comment, @justclickindiva

That looks really delicious, @oneray! I have been cooking late meals lately too. It's difficult to eat light if the food is really good!
Oh yeah!
In Chile, people sleep late; I don't know why.
If I sleep late, then I prefer to eat, lol

I appreciate it a lot
It all looks yummy! I've never heard of flour on french fried potatoes; what does that do or add to them? A different flavor? I've heard McDonald's adds sugar to their fries.
La harina de trigo hace que la papa frita quede más crujiente por fuera y suave por dentro. Le da un toque diferente. Deberías intentarlo :)
Agradezco mucho tu comentario.
I very much appreciate your comment.
Thanks! I think I will try it! I make homemade fries pretty often, and next time... :)
Howdy sir oneray! What a wonderful meal and a wonderful time, God bless you all!
Sir @janton. It's a pleasure to read your comment.
