It was really big news to learn Canada approved otc sales of cannabis for recreational use.

It will be interesting to observe how this helps with the opiod crisis in the U.S., as research has proven that cannabis is a helpful Rx for overcoming this problematic addiction.

I expect this legalization will be a huge boost for Canada's tourism industry; not to mention an uptick in U.S. citizens seeking Canadian citizenship.

It shall all be very interesting. Regarding crypto, it's unfortunate that some of the more promising assets have grown cobwebs. I think that's due to poor regulation; too much pump and dump of developers.

I am a proponent of medicinal marijuana; but, the social aspect will certainly be interesting to observe. Perhaps, this will be an alternative to people wanting to ween off hard alcohol and/or beer.

I will definitely keep my eyes on the various results of across-the-board legalization.

Peace.

It would have helped tourism if they did it 20 years ago, I share a border with Washington State where its been legal a while. If I was an American pot tourist I would just go to Colorado, easier to sneak some home than it would sneaking it across border. I don't predict a ton tourists coming for the weed

I think people who play by the rules and are too chicken to 'sneak' some back would enjoy a weekend there if they are near the upper east coast.

Yes, it would be quicker to go to Colorado from where you are. I was mostly thinking of east coasters.

All I can say is that I am encouraged that they are taking the prison association away for minor possession. Also, people who smoke for medicinal purposes benefit from across the board legalization.

Knowing the Feds can issue a raid on shops where cannabis is legal keeps a stigma attached to states where it is deemed legal in the U.S.

Best regards.

Peace.
