Soča: River Views / Flussansichten

in #photography5 years ago

A few days ago I have been at the source of the Soča River, the emerald river in Slovenia (Source of the emerald River ).

Vor ein paar Tagen bin ich an der Quelle des Soča Flusses, des smaragdgrünen Flusses in Slowenien gewesen (Quelle des smaragdgrünen Flusses).

River Views / Flussansichten
Soča River

Before I went on the Soča Trail towards the source, I took some photos of the river with a few smaller waterfalls, of which I want to show some today.

Bevor ich auf dem Soča Trail in Richtung Quelle gegangen bin, habe ich einige Fotos des Flusses mit ein paar kleineren Wasserfällen aufgenommen, von denen ich heute ein paar zeigen möchte.

At the moment, everything is really beautiful spring-green and the banks are completely overgrown.

Zur Zeit ist wirklich alles wunderschön frühlingshaft grün und die Ufer vollkommen verwachsen.

Beautiful. I'm a hobbyist amateur photographer. I love taking photos and sharing on my account. This is stunning.

Thank you very much @dkkarolien 😊 I love to photograph, and Steemit gives me the best chance to share my photos :)

Well I'm happy for steemit as I see many things and places that might gave gone unnoticed for me. 😊

Right, people from all the world are here, showing and telling the beauty of their countries. This is, why I love to be in this community 😄👍

Thank you so much @uadigger, I like it most, when the exposure is not too long, so that you still can see the flowing water and some texture in it.

Very nice photos of the waterfall! Those big rocks are quite impressive!
Slow exposure makes the running water looks very soft.

Thank you so much, dear @kaminchan 😊 I love long exposures, but they should not be too long - I want to see the water flow with some texture, and not just white milk.

You just planted 0.10 tree(s)!

Thanks to @artmentor

Thank you very much @treeplanter 😊

Howdy sir johannpiber! those are great shots of that waterfull also, the water looks like it's running at a very high speed and the photos looks very professional.

Hey, how do you get that shaded area in your text?

Thanks a lot, my friend, I like to make long exposures and experiment a lot with the shutterspeed, that you still can see the water flowing :)

Shaded area? Do you mean the light gray background?
I didn't do this - when you make your post with Steempeak the background of the table cells gets this color automatically. I don't know why, but because I post in English and German side by side, it is the easiest way for me to put the text in tables.

Howdy again sir johannpiber! The water flowing and the waterfall shots are wonderful!

Yes, the gray background, thanks for the explanation. That's nice of the app to do that for you! lol.

Good morning @janton,

it's another beautiful morning here - it's warm and a cool wind is blowing a bit. I am sitting in my office and the birds are singing outside. What's wrong with these words? The word "office" - it should be "beach" ;)
Never mind, I will finish this work week in a few hours, and as you wrote before, I have one week less to my retirement :)))

I love to shoot waterfalls and little streams, is makes fun :)

I would love to design the posts different, but unfortunately, Steemit and the other apps don't allow much of design coding. Maybe someone could implement bad code and harm the blockchain - I don't know, but plain HTML would not be a huge problem, I think.

Howdy today sir johannpiber! sorry for the late reply, you have already gotten off work and started your weekend right?
Hey, how would you like to your posts to be different? I thought the design was fine. lol.

Good evening @janton, it's weekend an nearly bedtime :)

I don't know, how I would change, but now all blogs look the same. This is good and bad at the same time, but I'd prefer to have just small subtle differences, may it be another font or font color or so. I would like to change the size of the images easier than now, or to be able to change the with of the table columns. These are just a few wishes, but I don't really mind.

Oh I see, you don't have major complaints like a little whiner, you would just like to be able to customize your posts so they look different and unique, totally understandable of you!

Thank you for understanding. And I understand, that the blockchain is very sensitive where not every code should be allowed ... but this markup language is very inflexible, and only very few very basic HTML tags work.

WOw these are all such amazing images i love long exposures where the water gets such a silky look
I hope your weekend is going well

Thank you so much JJ 😀
I like long exposures too, and this river has so many more places to explore.
It's Sunday morning and it's still raining, but they say, that we will have sun later on 😎

I haven't done long exposures for ages it really is something I must make the time to do

Good luck with getting some nice weather this afternoon

I like long exposures very much, but I hate screw-on filters. This is another thing I need: a filter system. I had one with the M50, but that's too small for the EOS R.
The weather is still rainy with sometimes sunshine for a few minutes. Tomorrow is another day 😁

Sorry to hear the rain is persisting, and you just reminded me to check out my Filter system I still haven't looked in the drawers for it I will do that right now

Good luck with getting some nice weather ;)

Hi, while I was writing my replies the sun came out and stayed 😀
First I had to help my son with his motorbike, but now I am sitting at the reservoir and hope, that the photos I took are viewable on the big monitor too, because on the camera they look like some really nice shots 😁 If not, I have some macros from the other day for tonights post 😂

Cool I am looking forward to seeing what you have got, I went for a nice walk this morning just around town I took a few shots havent even got them off the camera yet as I am planning another walk this afternoon, I am not sure why but I am sneezing up a storm which is driving me nuts, but it wont stop me getting another walk in and getting my step count for the day up to my goal

I still haven't looked at the photos yet, but the weight of 600mm is not easy to hold steady.
I wish you a nice walk - 10,000 steps or more? ... and stay healthy :)

Lovely photoshoot ..my friend @johannpiber

Thank you so much, @rakheroy, is is a lovely area to photograph, where it's easy to take nice photos.

Slovenia is just do beautiful. A lovely share, Johann:)

Yes, Pryde, Slovenia is really beautiful, and there are more beautiful places all around ... if I had only more time 🤔
Thank you for your nice comment, have a nice Sunday 😊
