Pick up the phone
I'm a huge advocate of preparing and building up confidence- before you pick up the phone to call. However, nerves and trepidation can prevent the most confident of personalities from calling. Here's a trick: open any directory (I was going to write: the phone book, but do they still print those😊) pick 20 numbers and CALL them!!! Knowing that they will never do business with you because the list is not targeted in any way should relax the nerves. Use this opportunity to get the marbles out of your mouth and have fun. Any call is better than no call. Render to always respect the person on the other end, it'll be good for your moral in the future.
