An analysis of President Trump's first State of the Union address
He touted his supposed domestic and foreign policy achievements and espoused divisive rhetoric under the guise of unity...what did you think? Let me know in a reply!
David, I cut a version of the speech that cuts out the jingoism, the emotional "trump's heroes" segments, and the applause. My cut is 25 minutes long. It's on dtube.
Trump does well on a teleprompter. He should carry one with him at all times. He played to the base, but so has every SOTU by every president ever. I thought the most telling part of the speech was what didn't happen. The Democrats might think that their refusal to stand up for even the obvious things might play well for them, but I think they are wrong. The dems lost the heartland. Not standing for unemployment continuing to go down or not standing for workers having more take-home pay will not play well for them in Michigan and PA. It just won't. I have a podcast going up soon where we recap the SOTU. You can find it at @ThePoliticalPost
Oh yeah, that speech was surely riddled with politician talk. You come back around to it and most of what it was boiled down to emotional manipulation and taking credit for things that either Obama's administration did, or people themselves worked toward - Yet it was done smoothly, unlike the typical Trump fashion.
I give my congratulations to however managed to write a passable speech after the shit show that has been Trumps presidency.

In a game of politics, I think it is very difficult to please both sides and looking at the fact that Mr President right from his campaign days down to polls. He is really not too friendly with words, too frank and lose. You don't expect such individual to enjoy the sympathy of masses.
Basically, I think Trump could do better if he can work better on the inside than the outside threat.
Drop bragging about coal when the Doomsday Clock was just turned to 2 minutes until midnight. He just keeps adding credence to the idea that the majority of the reason for that change was his fault.
Also, nice to see David Pakman on D.Tube and Steemit, I used to watch on YouTube but this is probably better for your monetarily and such so I'll stick to watching you here from now on.
Typical Trump speech. 1 hour bragging on himself and the rest of the speech about war and torture. Gonna be a long 3 years to go. I followed you're Ytube channel for awhile now. Good to see you posting here. Beats the alternative.
It's really good the way you are giving a good news to the world,,,,
I love your post,,, thank you my dear friend for sharing with #Us,,,,,,, and very good job,,,keep it #Up,,,
Trump may not be a Russian opperative after all , Will Tray Gowdy be sending Hillary and Barack to Jail? Things are looking real bad.
Why would Hillary and Obama go to jail? And Gowdy is resigning, so he'll be sending no one to jail. What are you even talking about?

Extra funny since Trump was critical of Obama using a teleprompter for YEARS...
Fantastic political

or until dtube works more smoothly, we could not monetize on YT and just post them in our blogs here also, just until dtube gets smoother if it will?
Essentially, but might as well try to monetize on YouTube if you can. If that monetization gets undone, well, at least we tried.

Did you even watch the speech? I guess I missed the 20 feature of war and terror. Typical Democrat.
