‘Love’: One More TV Show You Need to Watch
There is a chance that you, just like me, have set a goal for yourself to cut down the number of TV Shows you are currently watching, or at least not to start watching any new ones. I know, it is hard, there are just too many of them, right? But still, there is a show I want you to make an exception for. And you know what’s the best part — it is already over, no more episodes to come out, so no hooking yourself for a couple of years, you can binge-watch them all and be done with it! And it is not even long, just 3 seasons. That’s just easy, you can totally afford that! And, I mean, it’s called “Love”, can’t you make an exception for LOVE? Of course you can!
Anyway, I am talking about a wonderful romcom tv-series “Love” produced by Judd Apatow to whom we own a dozen of the best American comedies of the 21st century. The story of “Love” evolves around two millennials from bustling Los Angeles and invites you to enjoy the real romance of modern times combined with excellent humour, moderately sarcastic but truly entertaining image of Hollywood, and very attractive in their imperfections main characters who fall in love.
Mickey (Gillian Jacobs) is a victim of a series of different kinds of addictions (sex, drugs, alcohol, excessive drama) in her ripped shorts and a crumpled t-shirt with a cigarette in her mouth. Gus (Paul Rust) is a cute geek with an expressive Jewish nose and square glasses. Opposites meet at the cash register at a gas station and, as they say, attract.
Apart from numerous full-length movies, Judd Apatow also have produced several tv-shows in the past: the legendary "Freaks and Geeks" with young James Franco, Seth Rogan, and Jason Segel and Lena Dunham’s ”Girls". So if you don’t have any plans for upcoming evening or two, you always have something to keep you company.
