But on the specific question - Is it hard to make money? - YES, Thankfully YEs!
If we are just talking about the platform "Steemit", then right now I can confidently say YES!
People have such high standards with regards to what qualifies as "quality" on Steemit. If you are not well-known or haven't invested any real money on Steem, you have to always rely on the basics such as creating a post with at least 80-90% grammatically correct and only a few typos, must contain attractive images that are sourced properly and even proper formattings are also encouraged. If you are new to writing or blogging, these things are quite hard to do.
There are however other Steem platforms that I think would make someone earn a decent amount of money such as @dlive, @dtube , @steepshot or even @musing. I have seen many gamers just livestreaming there games and are earning a decent amount of money. I also have seen people vlogging their daily lives and also earning a decent amount of money through dtube.
It's not hard if you able to work continuously with patience . You can't make money without hardworking and efforts. If you can work long-term then yes it's give you many returns. But you needs to wait for good day . Hard-work and dedication always pay of the end. And steemit is best place to make money by just publishing content .
