Indonesian citizens are making plans for the independence of Indonesia not to return to the jajah by other countries to come. Soekarno and Moh. Hatta who wanted to declare independence on the content of PPKI. However, the younger generation wanted Indonesian independence not to be conveyed on the content of PPKI but generally and openly. The youths are concerned that Indonesia's independence will succeed because of plans from Japan's aid countries.

Then, on August 15, 1945, the negotiations took place between the young groups in East Pegangsaan. The decision of his talks was about the planning of Indonesia's independence on the existence of the bonds of and the promise of independence made by the Japanese. However, this decision is strongly rejected by Ir. Soekarno in charge of PPKI. Finally between the young and the elderly who planned the event rengasdengklok, by holding kidnappings Ir. Soekarno and Moh. Hatta to convey information of Indonesian independence. Here's a background explanation of rengasdengklok events.

17 august 1945

To my knowledge The recognition of the date of Indonesian independence by the Dutch was an event in which the Dutch finally recognized that Indonesia's independence was August 17, 1945 in accordance with the proclamation of Indonesian independence, not December 27, 1949 when the soevereiniteitsoverdracht was signed at Dam Palace, Amsterdam.

This recognition was made on August 16, 2005, the day before the 60th anniversary of the proclamation of Indonesian independence, by Dutch Foreign Minister Bernard Rudolf Bot in his official speech at the Department of Foreign Affairs. On that occasion, the Government of Indonesia was represented by Foreign Minister Hassan Wirajuda. The following day, Bot also attended the State Ceremony Commemoration of the 60th Anniversary of Indonesian Independence at the State Palace, Jakarta. This Bot step breaks the taboo and is the first in history.
