dollar and gold are rivals specially canadian oil effect on gold price there are large reserve of gold in canada so before buying selling in market one have to need watch canadian economy i believe
There is no effect from Canadian oil price on gold. There are no government reserves of gold in Canada. Our gov't sold the last 45 pounds some years ago. Brilliant. The only gold reserves in Canada are in the ground or in private hands. Thanks anyway.

Gold is overrated anyway imo. Not only in terms of value but pretty much in general. It ain't pretty and it ain't all that useful overall.
