Indian Government is doing the same thing now. Shortly there is one bill going to be introduced and get it passed-on in parliament. bankrupt banks can convert depositors money to their capital and issue paper bonds to depositors without their willingness or permission.
In my childhood I also played the this game of MONOPOLY - you have chosen a correct picture to describe banker's game. As a kid I thought it a game. but now I understand that, this is really how banks operate. Practical banking game....

I agree with your sentiment here but sorry just have to backtrack for a second...they make monopoly now where you just use credit card like devices instead of worrying about cash?!?

You do not put your money in a bank, you loan it to a bank for 0.0001% interest per year. There is no money and it exists only as an amount in a ledger that you do not control.

I dnt even bother putting my money in d bank anymore... i just invest in cryptos.
Well... we still kind of need banks just to transfer the money into cryptos, maybe in the future when cryptos become the major medium of exchange.
