Naalehu Farmer's Market, A family affair
If you can't come to Hawaii, then I will bring Hawaii to you. Hope you enjoy the videos as much as I enjoy making them. I plan to do more documentaries around the Island. How about a lady who actually lives in a cave and sings?
Meet the vendors at The Naalehu farmer's Market.
Introduction: Myself and my helper Terry
Meet some of the Vendors and their Products, most made right here on The Big Island.
Aloha and Mahalo from all the vendors at The Naalehu Farmer's Market on The Big Island of Hawaii!!

This is so awesome @thethreehugs! Thanks for sharing! We lived in Maui for over 10 years before we moved back here to the Philippines a year ago. We miss Hawaii so much though! We never got to visit the Big Island but I have a lot of good friends in Maui who are from there and I would love to visit someday :) Looking forward to your future posts! Much Aloha!
If you are anature lover, yo wold really enjoy the Big Island. A really unique island and not overpopulated like some of the other Island.

So interesting.
Well crafted.
This is really awesome! Thanks for bringing Hawaii to us. Hope to visit there one day and maybe you will be the guide ;)
Would love to.
Upvoted and resteemed.
Looks like a really nice place, another place to add to my list of locations still to visit ;-)
It is more than nice, it is paradise...and yes, come visit!! You won't want to leave..Lots of young adults come here and work on farms as woffers. Several stay here as they love it so much. The big Island is unique and not as crowded with people with a lot of protected parks and lands.
Although I live thousands of miles away, the friendliness and relaxed atmosphere reminds me of home. Great post and thank you for sharing with us! :)
Where is home? Yep, living here around friendly and caring people is pretty amazing. Plan to share a lot more and kinda enjoy doing the videos. I upload to youtube and give them link or if they don't have internet, just let em watch it on my cell phone. Lots of folk completely off the grid but most have cells I can text link to.
I think that's great, and I've considered going off grid too.... I'm nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains of NW North Carolina :)
Then do it girlfriend!! Solar and windpower is the way to go. Bet is beautiful there, never been myself.

Awesome....I love community and farmers markets...I would love the link for your recipes :) :) Kayleigh
I will be posting more recipes when I get the time..thanks for asking. I am rethinking creating my cookbook on steem as too hard to keep it all together. I will probably publish on one of my websites...bigislandwonders.com which still has to be build. I am going to add all my videos and photos there to and just publish links on steem. I let you know when I get it going.
Here is my recipe for Macadamia Nut Butter with cinnamon and Honey..Much better and healthier than peanut butter..this is the only one I have published so far:

Okay sounds great :) :)
It's amazing and my own creation. One of my best sellers. You ca use this recipe with any kind of nuts that you like.
Why would someone farm anywhere else. The volcanic soil must be fertile to the max!
It is is lots of areas but in some areas have to do a lot of composting as lots of lava rocks..lol
