8 Week Challenge: Day 4
21st February 2019
Today in my 8 week challenge calls for a rest day, especially after a hard and intense leg day that was completed yesterday. Waking up today I wasn't feeling sore in the legs as I would have liked, so hopefully tomorrow some of the DOMS will start to set in. My sleep was deep which means I was pretty exhausted, as well as a proper night sleep so a lot of protein synthesis would have been occurring.
Walking around so far my left knee was slightly sore, so to fix this and prevent it from progressing into a further issue, I will be proactive and do some foam rolling paying special attention to the quads, as well as stretching the hips to keep the legs aligned.
Tomorrow is Chest and Biceps so I will be looking forward to that and making the most of todays recovery.
