This idea of dutifulness in it's entirety has made many people lost their sense of self. We shouldn't forget that fun never dies. Regardless of whatever age you are in, fun should be alive else our lives won't be flexible at all. Life is hard but at the same time, it is meant to be enjoyed. So many unfulfilled bankers, engineers and so on would have been better singers, songwriters and actors but they chose other profession because they want to please their family members wish for them thus killing their dreams.
