People are anticipating the worst and that we will be in lock down should that happen. Also, I know people aren’t just shopping for themselves. Several may be the chosen family member to brave the crowds for their family and neighbors. Hopefully, the stores will restock and the next shopping wave will be less frantic. Trader Joe’s restocks daily. I had luck at the ethnic markets. And, I’ve had some friends mention their local grocery store had lots of fresh produce although meats and grains were out.
