RE: the city of angels has empty shelves
I live in LA myself and it’s ridiculous it looks like that everywhere and people fighting in the mornings to grab what they can as soon as the store opens and leave the shelves all empty.
People are anticipating the worst and that we will be in lock down should that happen. Also, I know people aren’t just shopping for themselves. Several may be the chosen family member to brave the crowds for their family and neighbors. Hopefully, the stores will restock and the next shopping wave will be less frantic. Trader Joe’s restocks daily. I had luck at the ethnic markets. And, I’ve had some friends mention their local grocery store had lots of fresh produce although meats and grains were out. Good luck on your next venture out.
