One of the simplest ways to #LightTheWorld is simply to get along with those around us.
This is possible to accomplish by simply following the golden rule.
If we wouldn't like people to treat us certain way then we shouldn't be treating them that way. If we want respect and appreciation then we should respect and appreciate others... Simple, but not always easy to accomplish since our selfish "monkey brain" and evolved natures often get in the way.
It takes humility and courage to be the first to act. When faced with a situation where the onus is on us to take the first step or reach out and make the first move we are often naturally hesitant, but being the bigger person and acting in a way that we would like to be treated usually pays off handsomely in the end.
Pride may stand in the way and we find ourselves justifying less appropriate and constructive responses because these seem to us to be our rightful reaction.
We can swallow our pride and be a better self.

Great post. I had problems in the past when someone criticise me and than I learned that most of the time that has nothing to do with me. If you point finger and criticise someone, you are subconsciously criticise yourself on issues that you did not resolved. Now I have much more compassion for people who always criticise.

Excellent and beautiful publication @gavvet, really that's what we need for a better world, that's why the scriptures say: you will love your neighbor as yourself, hence everything depends on Love, that unconditional Love that Jesus taught us, without selfishness, making us humble of heart to carry a bit of that sacrifice that God made for humanity. Today is a good day to demonstrate with our actions that Christ lives in us.

I am a new member of STEEMIT. I heard about this from a friend and we tried signing up, but we both do not know how to efficiently post topics/blogs. We would greatly and gratefully appreciate some help. May somebody generously spend time by giving me instructions about few basics of @STEEMIT? I already know about inserting images, formatting texts like BOLD and ITALIC. I do not know other than that. I already made some posts but seems inefficient.
On that note, I would like to humbly ask for an assistance on STEEMIT. I can see that you've been efficiently posting some topics. I also plan to post the weekly sermons I've learned from my pastor. A generous help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much in advance and God bless!

Great thought, if we don't want to be treated in someway from others,then we should treat them in that way. Yes friend, life is running around a circle. We come across many people in our way of life, often times we expect good treatment from others, but at the same time we care little about them. Yes, this is the act of our monkey mind. We always want more for us, we often forget that we are not permanent here, so gread and selfish attitude are the vice. I like your fantastic video you have made. We all want love and respect but sometimes we don't want to give love and respect, especially when we are at odds with someone and we're feeling hurt and angry. If you look down on people and treat them badly, they'll retaliate and appear just as annoying and hostile as you expected. If, in contrast, you treat people with kindness and respect in spite of your anger, they'll nearly always be far more flexible and responsive to your feelings and point of view. So peoples need to be patience and kindly any occasions. Let the other person know that you like, respect, or admire them, and value their friendship even though you're both feeling angry or disagreeing with each other right now. If peoples have ability Please Give the other person a genuine compliment.
you don't have to treat anyone with respect. You can respond to people any way you want to. It just depends on the kinds of relationships you want.

Firstly I told you that, #lighttheworld already being most attractive hashtag post and campaign in steemit platform. It's bring forward without stopping. I have seen lot of steemians posted more blogs mentioning above hashtag. Today attractive topic indeed.
Firstly talk what about kindness. Kindness, the motivation, recognition and enactment of positive actions towards others, is invaluable. I realize this isn’t exactly a monumental act of kindness that is going to change the world, but it will make it a little brighter.but it can really turn my day around to get a genuine smile and acknowledgment from a complete stranger. Try it out sometime! Kindness makes the world a better place. And that’s because it’s simply contagious.
I have seen lot of ladies bullied from social media also. I have talked with them online. First I asked what about her sadness. If I can have any best answer I give to him/ her. Most important we can need to LISTENING. Listen important more than talk. When you listen to people, you show that you respect them and what they have to say. You honor their words and indicate that they are important to you. For people who feel isolated or unimportant, something as simple as listening can boost their confidence and self-esteem.
Than we can tray to be giving. Giving to others is a common notion of kindness.Giving manifests in different ways and is capable of turning someone's life around. Whether it is a money or a full meal, giving as kindness is important.
On the way If I have mistake to other person I every-time say "I am really very sorry" without no more lately. Loving-kindness meditation is as simple as offering positive thoughts to respected, loved, neutral, and hostile people in your life. Its Buddhist method of attitude change that fosters compassion for yourself and others. Finally I told that that would be brilliant conversation @gavvet.
