Long time no see my friends
Hey there fellow Steemians, it's Rabbe here. Some of you might have noticed that I have been quiet for a while. This has been a conscious choice.
Long hours and tight schedules
As my followers might know, I was working as a carpenter this summer and had pretty long workdays. This resulted in being tired and exhausted, so I decided to keep away from Steemit in order to keep my posts as good as possible instead of just posting something frequently.
The rush at the workplace kept escalating until it reached the point where me and a co-worker decided to stay at the workshop for the whole night after doing a 14-hour long day installing our cabinets on a worksite. So, we ended up starting our workday at 7AM thursday morning and ended it 7AM friday morning. It was one of the weirdest experiences I've had, but afterwards I gotta say it was worth it. We got a lot done and ended up having fun on the side. The biggest surprise was how tired and sore your back muscles get after being in an upright position for 24 hours.
Chilling out
Right now I'm enjoying a well deserved summer vacation on a small greek island called Zakynthos. I've been here for a couple of days now and will spend the next ten days as well. I will probably make a small post with some pictures from here when I get closer to leaving this lovely place. For starters, this is the view from the balcony:
Nothing too fancy, no ocean view or anything but I really enjoy hanging out in here and looking at the view. Some olive gardens, tall hills and green forest all in one view. We also have a direct view to a field that is inhabited by goats and a place near the hotel where a few cute cats usually play at. It's like watching Animal Planet Live.
So in case you have been wondering, this is what is going on with me at the moment. Please don't give up on me just yet my fellows, I'm just taking a small break. But don't worry, I'll be back soon with more posts. Until then. Peace. -R
