Do you know for a fact that you cannot eat them, or are you simply assuming that, by default? They look similar to Ling Chi(Ganoderma lucidum), and in the USA, even the cousin of Ganoderma lucidum(Ganoderma sessile) is eaten, for its medical benefits.

I did not know the name of this mushroom in English even in Cambodian. I went to the website, It is very interesting. I know a few wild mushroom that you can eat, but not the one grow on the wood of on the dead tree. Too bad I don't know their name in English.
