Rittenhouse is a political enemy being thrown under a bus.

I'm absolutely convinced that nobody actually believes that Kyle Rittenhouse is guilty of murder.

Over the last year, most of my conversations with people who want the kid burned have devolved into statements about how it was illegal for him to have the gun and that he shouldn't have been there. Okay, that doesn't make him a murderer.

People are pulling a Motte and Bailey.

Then people talk about his political beliefs. This is even more egregious because people want to see him behind bars because of his beliefs rather than his actions.

Finally, people were actively trying to have campaigns to raise money for his defense lawyers taken down. Why? If you have any confidence that Rittenhouse is guilty, why are you afraid of him having a competent defense lawyer?

This is about tossing a political enemy under the bus. This isn't about justice.
