Hello! It's so nice to meet you!
My name is Bianca. I'm living in Austria and I'm a vegan food blogger. I've graduated from university last year in November. I studied Web Sciences (that's probably why I love learning about cryptocurrencies and trying out all the new stuff in the internet :P), since then I'm a full-time food blogger. When I'm not cooking up a storm in the kitchen, I love to watch the plants grow in my balcony garden, play video games or binge netflix series.
ELEPHANTASTIC VEGAN
I never really cared much for cooking, but when I adapted a vegan diet in 2012, I fell in love with food. Big time.
I started my food blog - Elephantastic Vegan - in 2014 for 3 main reasons: 1) to get a hobby 2) to have all my go-to recipes in one place and 3) to show my mom that I'm eating properly (she was seriously worried I would die of protein deficiency) :D
I absolutely LOVE sharing plant-based recipes and making recipe videos. And I feel blessed that I was able to turn this hobby into my career. Over the last 4 years, I've published over 350 recipes on my blog. And still my to-cook-list is getting longer every day.
Exciting things are happening all the time. The next big thing will be my very first cookbook coming out in January (in the US). It's called the Veginner's Cookbook and it is for anyone thinking about transitioning to a vegan diet, having difficulties maintaining a vegan lifestyle or just looking for easy vegan recipes to include in their diets.
I'm excited to be here on Steemit!

Most of my recipes are easy to make, but I'll try to stick to really simple recipes here on steemit :)
I've published my first recipe for banana bread pancakes yesterday (https://steemit.com/vegan/@elephantastic/banana-bread-pancakes-video). I try to include videos for as many recipes as possible (although they are a lot of work to make). I think these are especially useful for beginners, am I right?

Maybe setup a camera in your kitchen? with remote on/off as you do each main step. save on edit time? $0.02

Quite interesting. I always thought vegans took it a bit too far, but curious to see what you will make :)
There are all kinds of vegans, I'm more of the spark-peoples'-interest-in-veganism-through-feeding-them-delicous-food-person. I love to host parties, there's always enough to drink and eat. No one leaves hungry on my watch. That way, many of my friends started including more vegan meals into their diet - without actually being full-time vegans. Love that! :)
