Newbie Intro - Mycosoul
Hey everyone. I'm brand new here, and was drawn in because I am interested in cryptocurrencies. I am also intrigued by a social media platform that seems to reward good behavior. I have many other interests and am excited to share content occasionally. Main interests include foraging for edible and medicinal mushrooms and plants, singing in community, understanding the cycles of nature, and connecting with my ancestry. I love fermenting things and currently have hard cider and an elderberry/aronia mix wine bubbling in the kitchen. My career is civil engineering, but currently I am enjoying being at home with a little one and running an airbnb at my home. I live in the Pacific NW. Hopefully I can find some like minded people to engage with on steemit.

Can you give us advice on how to find good mushrooms, if we're complete newbs in that area? Which mushroom is best to start searching?
Recommend you "jack" your cider and try it. Allow full fermentation into wine, then freeze the result, removing the ice every morning until the alcohol content climbs. You'll be left with "Applejack". Delicious, the way you're SUPPOSED to drink spirits-- not boiled in the still where you lose all the taste and nutrients.
Hey. Sorry for super late response. I'm still getting to know this ecosystem and finally see how to see all replies without looking through threads. Better late than never, yes? Regarding mushroom advice, my best is to join the local mushroom club in your area and go on forays until you have some confidence to go alone. Boletes are an easy beginner mushroom, as are chanterelles and morels.
