CONSENSUS ISN'T PROOF
One day I asked myself what was the difference between "terrible" and "terrific". Not much. They both have to do with terror. My context, growing up, was that terrific was better than good. No one told me otherwise. I had to investigate it for myself.
"Consensus" is such a word. The context in which it is used suggests that there's proof or at least evidence that something is true. It's not. Consensus has nothing to do with proof. If you savvy viewers already knew that, watch this episode anyway. Just because it's Friday and there's a trilogy of thought in this episode that's goes straight through without stopping. Don't get lost.
We hit the gym to end our third fortnight. And something extra at the end, but I've already forgotten... It has something to do with gold.
Speaking of gold, it's Donald Trump's birthday today. 78 I think. It's also Flag Day. I could make a Pride Month joke, but it's too corny. It used to be a federal holiday. They nixed it back in the day. No worries , the government replaced it with Juneteenth. I think that was as a result of all the mayhem of 2020 & George Floyd. Never let a crisis go to waste. You can get away with stuff you can't do otherwise. Remember how long it took to get MLK's birthday designated a holiday?
My former work partner, mentor and philosopher's birthday is today also. RIP though. His stories still inspire and guide me.
Did you see the ads that said Biden was supposed to drop out of the Presidential campaign on this date? I don't buy it, but I won't be surprised if it happens.
Even the more gullible branch of my family tree will admit, not in so many words, that Joey B is mentally unfit for the position and Kamala certainly isn't running anything. Plus with Hunter being convicted on probably the most minor charge that could have been brought against him, Joe has ample excuses to quit the race, but not the Office, because that would make Kamala the first female President and for some reason that cannot happen.
Even the deep state doesn't want her ascending into history like that.
That being said, she might be president by Monday. How's that for a fearporn theater matinee weekend? And speaking of...
