RE: Gardeningchef's First Cauliflower!
I would be so excited! We finally had a nice day here, so my boyfriend started working on a little garden prep for the spring. I can't wait to see what we can get growing this year. I'm sure your cauliflower is going to be delicious!
That's great that you were able to start on some spring garden prep, makes you feel good about the season ahead! Have you any ideas for what you'll be growing?
I sure hope my cauli is delicious - I need to think of a dish that will hero it as the main ingredient. I have plenty of time to think while it grows :D
We always do the basics--tomatoes, zucchini, peppers, eggplant, some type of greens like Swiss chard. We've actually had some fantastic acorn squash from volunteers before, so sometimes I'm pleasantly surprised by a random survivor from our compost!
One of my clients ordered some seeds, so she told me to check with her and she'll share some others, too. I will definitely share in a few months once spring hits! Looking forward to seeing what you make with your cauliflower!
