RE: Gardeningchef's First Cauliflower!
Isn't it just?? I'm still so excited to see it every day, though it is taking its time to grow. I am probably too impatient with said excitement!
I cannot wait to see some pea pods growing, they probably won't make it to my kitchen either. Too perfect eaten fresh from the plant!!!!
they are so amazing fresh, makes me want it to be cold enough to grow them again here in Brisbane!!
Dont forget to leave the roots in the ground when they die to fix some N into your soil :-)
It sure is cold enough here in Spain... I take it it's summertime for you??
Thanks for the tip on the roots - I'll be sure to leave them in! I recently had to renew the soil in the beds to plant these peas so the soil could use all the help it can get :)
well your off to a good start with peas they will fix your soil quite a bit :-)
Yep, brutal summer here in Australia but we have had rain the last few days :-)
Happy Gardening!
Wow brutal eh? I'd love to visit Australia, it's #1 on the travel list!!
Enjoy that rain. I have had rain all week but today it is finally clear and sunny. Time to plant some seeds!
Have a great weekend :)
You should visit Australia it has many a beautiful place to see, many great gardens to visit.
The rain has been enjoyed, hopefully some sun tomorrow so I can get planting also.
