Your Candy and our Diesel could be good friends. Diesel is a boxer shepherd mix and weighs about 70 pounds. But let it thunder and he turns into a big bowl of jello, shaking with every breath. He wants to be comforted but my lap can only hold so much dog, lol.

Isn't it nice seeing white tailed deer on your property? We are far enough away from the city that they occasionally find their way into either ours or the neighbors back yard since we are closest to the woods. If the dogs happen to be outside, they stand in the neighbors back yard and intentionally mess with the dogs. It seems almost like they are trying to play with them and will sometimes run back and forth along the fence line, just like the dogs do. But they don't seem to be afraid. It is more like they are playing with them.
