Backyard visitors on a rainy Saturday morning.
This morning woke us up with the low rumble of distant thunder, much to the dismay of our dog, Candy. (she is upset by three things..thunder, firecrackers and smoke alarms)
This was the view from the kitchen window as I began to make our morning coffee.
Upon closer inspection of the soggy backyard I noticed three large animals grazing by the edge of the grass. Can you spot them? Hint - Look for the bright white spots of their tails!
I know...we must get out there and reset that fallen tomato tower. Just not today!

Hello friend! No not dangerous, just deer looking for some fresh green grass to munch.
Your Candy and our Diesel could be good friends. Diesel is a boxer shepherd mix and weighs about 70 pounds. But let it thunder and he turns into a big bowl of jello, shaking with every breath. He wants to be comforted but my lap can only hold so much dog, lol.
Isn't it nice seeing white tailed deer on your property? We are far enough away from the city that they occasionally find their way into either ours or the neighbors back yard since we are closest to the woods. If the dogs happen to be outside, they stand in the neighbors back yard and intentionally mess with the dogs. It seems almost like they are trying to play with them and will sometimes run back and forth along the fence line, just like the dogs do. But they don't seem to be afraid. It is more like they are playing with them.
I forgot to mention one other thing that she is afraid of. Whenever we watch Hell's Kitchen she wants to get on my lap and trembles! I think it is the timer that bothers her. Dogs ... don't you just love em! 😀

They are white tailed deer...looking for some fresh green plants to eat! Today the sun is shining and it is getting more and more green!
These things do much harm to dogs like fireworks, I hope Candy is better and today is not so upset, if it was a rainy Saturday friend but sometimes it is good they are cool and makes you stay at home and rest
