Celebrations Time

Yesterday was Friendship day, though every day has to be celebrated as a Friendship day as this is one of the most beautiful relationships between us humans. First of all it is not a relationship by compulsion, it's a relationship of hearts, where people bond with free will and create beautiful memories.
Friends are an important part of our lives, they bring so much cheer, without friends in our lives, life feels dull and there is no charm.
The fun and laughter we have with our friends is all together at a different level and the same chemistry we cannot have with our family members.

True friends do not judge us, they just accept us the way we are, we do not have to worry about our behavior with them, we can be carefree and be ourselves. I have always been lucky where friends are concerned, and have some real genuine people in my life as my friends who have been with me through thick and thin. I have a very small family and most of my life I have been away from my family, so my friends have always been very important for me, because I have been with them for longer than being with family. Hence they hold a very special place in my life

Yesterday I decided to spend time with one of my friends who I have not been able to catch up with for some time. It was not planned much in advance, we spoke to each other in the morning and decided to meet up for a drink in the evening.

We went to this place called Trader Vic's, it's a cozy place to chill out in the evening time. They have a live band too, but yesterday they were not playing and they just had the recorded music playing, which also set up a good mood for the evening.

I enjoy Coffee based cocktails, so I ordered one with Irish Coffee and Rum combination and she ordered a Guava based cocktail, both of them were good.

Good ambiance, drinks and music was all that was needed to set the mood.

Memories created with friends are always special.

Our second drink was a different one, because I wanted to try something new, but this was also Coffee based.

Such a beautiful evening it was, we did not eat at the restaurant, the whole idea was to catch up and chit chat which was fulfilled :-)
