My Actifit Report Card: December 28 2021

Today dawned very cold but sunny. Around 1:30, I headed out to unearth the car and see if she would start. The car will be 10 years old next year and it still has the original Suzuki equipment battery in it. After finding the car again, I got in and turned the key……………and Ole Faithful started right up! Amazing for a battery with that kind of age on it! Can I have another Suzuki battery please? I know that when we go to replace it, the new one will be lucky to make 3-5 years.
We headed out for a hike afterwards. Jan is visiting her parents for a few days and won’t be hiking until she returns.
End of day……certainly a nice winter evening picture. We decided to go further than the pond and headed up Keith and Lynne’s driveway a bit. After reaching the first plateau, we turned and headed back down before the daylight was gone. Upon turning around, this was the view I got!
A sled, skis or a snowmobile would have been perfect to glide back down that hill on!😎
Tomorrow is a workday for me. I just got word the doc won’t be there either day after all, so I won’t see him or my coworker until next year!☺️ Just me, myself and I for the balance of the work year.
That’s gonna be it for now. I made from scratch, slit pea soup for dinner and I’m thinking a slice of garlic bread just might go well with it too!
