In terms of age... I am perhaps not old. To my 4 year old, I am probably very old. To my next door neighbour, I am probably very young. But my career writing code for a living is behind me and I have no other use for learning the programming language required. So for learning Node.JS, I am too old. If I were starting my career writing code, it would make a lot more sense.
