You're absolutely right, farewells from home are a common theme for military wives, causing both excitement and sadness (you're a strong woman). These emotional experiences, often involving involuntary separations or job dismissals, teach resilience, adaptation, and the importance of a strong support system (thank goodness God created us with these characters especially adaptation). The moment of farewell is a poignant one, filled with the weight of the unknown, and teaches the value of relationships and bonds.(reason we should value our relationship with our loved ones and friends). Thank you so much, dear @goodbest for such words as a comment. Farewells are a regular part of our life. Although farewells are not pleasant, deep down in our hearts, they always leave an ache for the loved one and the place we left behind. However, coping with them and embracing new beginnings in a new place is a valuable lesson for us as a military family.
