Steemit Engagement Challenge S12W6 | "Farewell"
Farewell is a word most people are afraid to say but then we can't avoid it. When we are ready to go search for a greener pastures we will definitely say farewell, when we got married and about leaving the house to your husbands house you will definitely say farewell, so you see it is unavoidable.
I have different experience of my farewell and how I felt I still remember them but I will share just few in this contest
I left home at 16 years when I was about to enter college, i was so worried how life will be with me alone out there. I didn't have any other options than to leave but I wept as I will be missing my parents, my mum calls everyday to find out how I am in school.
Saying farewell on this day was really emotional
On my wedding day, I really felt what it means by living home to stay with another family you never know. Staying with someone you don't know how he will react when you start displaying your real you. So many thoughts runs my mind but yet I have to go although it was hard to say farewell but I knew we won't go far and I will still be visiting.
Few months after my wedding I traveled for some weeks to work leaving my husband alone at home, I really felt it leaving home for working, I came back within some days and I missed my hubby so much.
I remembered when I wrote my final exams I shaded tears of joy and then I cried as I will miss my friends in school, my congregation friends as well. A get together party was organised and we eat drink and dance, I can't forget that moment and I cherish it so much as the memories remains in my heart.
Some faith strengthening scriptures were read and explained, it was an uplifting gathering I felt motivated even though I was going to miss my friends I was motivated and felt loved of which I can't forget it in a hurry.
Yes very well, at all times I'm ready for farewell. Like I said some farewell are for good, although we will miss the person involved. I may have a job somewhere in another state and will require that I leave home with my hubby and baby I will say farewell to other family members. I'm still in search for my dreamed work and when I got it, I will leave and say a farewell to everyone.
Meanwhile, I really enjoyed contest scheduled in this community and so as it has gotten to the end of this engagement challenge in this community, I say farewell till another season.
Life is like a dice it is not stable, and as such farewell has exposed me to different opportunities I never would have experience had it been I wasn't strong enough to say farewell.
Life has thought me that I need to accept the way things are and try to adapt to my new environment and lifestyle. Life is not all about luxury and a luxurious lifestyle is nothing as it doesn't have a guarantee, what is important is adaptability so that any how life tune us to we adapt and live comfortably.
Nothing good comes easy and as well, we need to be willing to say farewell and welcome greater opportunities.
I really enjoyed this season 12 engagement challenge, farewell to season 12 let's see what season 13 will hold.

Indeed farewell is something most people do not want to say although it comes and meet them. However we have no option when cases like what you just narrated arises. It comes by itself although is difficult.

Yea it's unavoidable but most times we need it so as to say it when it's time.

Farewell is one of the hardest word to say to someone especially loved ones but has its positive effects too. Just as you said, it exposed you to different opportunities which was good for you then. I know how emotional it is to leave home/ your loved ones behind just to go and start life somewhere else.

Ciertamente debemos depedirnos algún día. Tal vez por estudios, matrimonio y mejores oportunidades de trabajo.
Cuando me casé mi temor era dejar la casa de mis padres. Pero la ley de la vida es mudarse con el esposo.
Las despedidas son a veces dolorosas pero poco a poco nos vamos acostumbrando.

That is very true, leaving home for marriage is one of those farewells that comes with tears of joy but then with time everyone get used to it.

Greetings friend, wonderful entry. Goodbyes are not easy, they do not make us sad or even cry when it comes to our loved ones, but they are stages that always occur in life. He left home at a very young age, I imagine it was hard but he managed to adapt.
Very well said, sometimes saying goodbye opens up new opportunities for us by daring to say goodbye. They are difficult decisions but sometimes necessary to make way for new things. Blessings and much success!!
