SEC-S18W3 | Traveling and enjoying in couple: me and @myskye on the way to Ferry

The topic of this challenge was like specially created for me and my hubby, as we were going on our trip to Germany and was going to drive first and then to take ferry.
The preparation day or days are hectic, there are many things needs to be done but also as we were travelling with car we needed to make sure that we have some drinks and food, some clothes for few weeks and also to make sure that we have all necessary documents.
Since me and @myskye married we are travelling together slowly it is like a good working plan. First we find a destination, the next when a place is chosen we start planning. My hubby very good in searching about the best route:
there where possible we like to travel with car, because we can take all necessary stuff that we definitely want to take with us
the next is hotel, often we take one that is well known to us, often the one where we already were
I must say the majority of the preparation is done by my husband so I am very lucky and spoiled that I usually have everything arranged.
On our trip to Germany we are taking a car as usually and it is a road trip from Edinburgh to Northend England to Newcastle, from there there is a ferry that is leaving for Amsterdam. From Scotland all the roads passing through or around Edinburgh and here it is a New bridge "Queensferry Crossing". It is still relatively new bridge and on both side you can see the endless water and sailing boats on coasts.
We usually like active holiday, of course, hiking is the most enjoyable activity, because we spent a lot of time outside in fresh air. It is not only give us an opportunity to be outside but also to keep ourselves fit.
Another one is cycling, there where it is possible we love cycling and often either take our own bicycles or borrow if there are any services like that. That is also an active way of enjoying our time together, we try to cycle 15 km a day but we plan to visit some sightseeing places so that it is both good for our health and good for our eyes.
Finally we arrived and we were glad to be in our cabin, it is spacious and we also have windows with a sea view, in summer time like now there is much light until very late.
Very spacious shower and toilette, often after a long drive it is nice to have a shower.
While walking around on decks we often visit the rescue boats and check where they are just in case.
Another place that we visit often is the duty free shop, we often just walk around and see what they have it is interesting to see some special souvenirs from Scotland, for many who visited this country for a short time this is the last place to get some presents.
Another Scotland special are Whiskys, different types and price classes.
We were glad to be onboard and this is a start of our holiday.

Oh! You had an enjoyable trip with your lovely husband, I understand how you feels as the whole traveling plans is being arranged by your husband.
The activities you people do together is really encouraging as it helps you to stay fit. I never like hiking but your post has inspired me. I and my husband will give it a try .

সেখানে কাটানো মুহুর্ত গুলো ভালো লাগলো। বিশেষ করে হোটেলের বিশ্রামাগার দেখে। এটা অনেক সুন্দর। এবং জানালা দিয়ে দেখা যায় সমুদ্র। টলমলে পানি আর প্রাকৃতিক আবহাওয়া।

Viajar es un placer, pero sobre todo de forma organizada y sin contratiempos, por eso es tan importante la planificación de los diferentes aspectos necesarios.

Yes, agree with outdoor activities you are tired but have a lot of experience. I love to be out of strength at the end of the day and just fall asleep :)
Ever since you got married, you like to travel with your husband. It is very good. This time you traveled to Germany with your husband by car. Glad you did some cycling and hiking too. You came to your cabin with a window overlooking the sea. It's a beautiful view. Hope you enjoyed your trip.
