Club5050-The Diary Game-My Busy Day At The Market.
Greetings everyone
Today I want to share with you how my day was. I did not wake up early today due to sleeping late last night. I spent my night watching a movie, so I was not able to sleep early. Due to that I woke up late today and and quickly start preparing to get ready for market. After I was done with my preparations, I started going to the market.
I was already late because they open the market at exactly 6:00 am but I got there around 6:30 am, meaning today I was 30 minutes late. But I tried to cope and not let pressure mount me. I got to our store and the place was already swept by one of our neighboring store keeper. So I just gathered the rubbish and collected it into the dust bin. It was then someone came to buy groundnut paste and I checked it was not enough to sell for the day.
So I sold for her and rushed to the grinding mill to request for more groundnut paste. I got there and they where also about to start grinding so I just waited for them to finish and I will carry it and go. It took me much time there as there were already some people there who was to also grind their things. Immediately they finished grinding the others things, they grind mine for me and I took it to our place.
I came back to the store and started packaging the groundnut paste for sale. Today I was alone in the market so did not get any help from my junior sister. I was doing the packaging at the same time selling. When I do the packaging to some point I will stop and continue when the buying rate is high.
We sell many things in the market and some of them include dawa dawa, groundnut paste, rice and many others. But the groundnut paste is our main business. When we started with this business it was the groundnut paste that we use to sell and as time goes on my mother decided to add some other products to expand the business.
The pressure of the market got reduced when it was exactly 12:00 in the afternoon. During this time many people find it difficult to come out under the host scotching sun so I used that opportunity to go get myself launch and eat before that time will be over. Normally that is the time I usually take my launch.
I got to the food joint and luckily on my side it was not crowned today. So I bought my food gently and went back to the store. I couldn’t eat there because there is no one looking after the store when I left so I had to go back early and look over it. I bought banku with okro soup and I was ok with it till I closed from market.
I came back to the store, ate my launch and continued with my business again. When it was 3:00 in the evening my mother came to the store. She asked me how the market was and I told her everything was under control, she took over and asked me to go home and start preparing what we will eat tonight. But as at then I didn’t pray any of my daily prayers so I quickly rushed to the near by mosque and prayed both “Zuhur” and “Asir”.
I came back to the store and packed my things and started going back to the house. We normally close at 6:30 in the evening but because I was going to cook my mother took over from the market and asked me to go home and start preparing our supper. I was very tired but had no option than to finish up with my duties and be free. This was how my day was all about.

Groundnut paste! It looked really nice on those containers and papers. I can see it's fried groundnut already. Please what do they buyers do with it, do they use it for soup or to make groundnut butter ? It's quite a strength taking excercise selling and packaging. Wow, that is a huge factory. What a busy day you had. Groundnut paste is like peanut butter right? You can use it to eat garden egg. Amazing, and dawa? What are the ingredients for the dawa?

Yh groundnut paste is just like peanut butter but that one is used to eat banku and at times you can boil rice with it again.
Dawa dawa is made from the seeds of a tree called dawa dawa tree. It bears this fruits which is yellowish in nature and the seeds of this fruit is used to make dawa dawa.
I don’t play with my diet, always eat when the time is due.

The groundnuts paste looks yummy and in my country here in Nigeria, we do add some spices before grinding it and also the easterners use it to eat garden eggs and I love that.
