Why you are on Steemit?
Hello dear Steemians,
Last few weeks there were many events around in the World but also in our little world on Steemit. I remember that in the past it was like something that I visited, dropped my post, sent couple of comments and went. Of course, it was good to have some comments and chat with some people but it was not something that I would say I felt that I need to visit daily.
Slowly we got involved in projects initially just one, then got another, then became a part of WOX Moderator which then was not only daily posting as an user but also a responsibility for our community users and also for this platform that accommodated many users who decided to stay here.

When we start anything, we always think first why we are doing that, what is our aim and then we make a decision. For us, it was not only to post and communicate but to be involved in the whole activities and also to earn some Steem.
It is like a game there are some rules and if you do everything according the rules you will reach what you want.
As moderators of WOX we are happy to get an opportunity of nominated the users for additional support that is provided by the Steemit Team as "Booming" account Upvote, that we can nominate 6 users a day and also "SteemcuratorXX" Upvotes. There are three of us who are part of the Curator Teams.
Of course, in order to be nominated we ask users to post Steemit exclusive and not posting the same content on other platforms. It is not our rule but while nominating the users we have to follow the Rules of the Curation.
It is a choice of anyone on Steemit, users can post the same on any platform too but then we are not able to grant them additional reward.
The conclusion at the end is simple, your success is in your hands.

There are many examples why I like Steemit and why I think that this is worth to be active and engaged. Since we started our journey here, we not only grow our own Steem Power but we were engaged in many projects such as supporting the new users, interesting blogs, talented people. On other hand we are there if anyone need some support. Of course, in order to give better and stronger support we need more people with strong Steem Power.
Below just a small amount of Initiatives that can demonstrate what we can do if working together.
- Last year when Call for Donation for Children who suffered in Ukraine War. It was amazing that many users on Steemit joined it including the Steemit Team with SC01 Upvote. We managed to collect 740 Euro for that:

On the one hand, one of the reasons is that Steemit has become a familiar place, I think much more human than before the fork, an example we have the diversity of charity projects that are currently carried out on the platform, on the other hand, I am here because Steemit is the best, in fact the only project in which I can currently invest knowing the difficulties and economic imbalance that our nation lives, so I am focused on staying active most of the time to achieve a good return.
Good topic to know the different points of view or reasons to be in the platform.
HI @adeljose, thank you for sharing your opinion, I think last few years everything became more like the place where people building up circle of friends due to engagements. Interesting that via regular blogging many know each other well.
When someone would like to reach something then the person need to put a lot of time and efforts but anything is possible if we follow certain rules.
It is only a shame that even such simple way of become successful is not used by many. Hope people will see it and might make some decision for themselves.
This network and community fulfill their role in creating good content and also in these acts of solidarity, increasingly common in today's days! Hi Marco, I really like that you started to become more communicable. it is important to be seen by others as a user and a person. Commenting makes it easy, although often we have not enough time too. But you know that here on WOX try to keep our eyes on our loyal users and to make sure that they also get seen and supported by others. It is a real pleasure to have you under this post.

Hi Stefano, you are one of the active users on Steemit and you are really seen in many communities. While being a part of Steemcurator team I always look at your blog. You know that we are allowed to support users who do Power Up, I noticed that you withdraw more than Power Up. If you even Power Up 50%, then we also will be able to support you.
Hi stef, if i understand correctly you advise me to make the posts indicating 50% - 50%. I've always done this in the past, then I noticed that many suggested doing the opposite, so I started doing 100% power ups. Can you confirm that I understood your advice correctly?

Yes this is great program and helps user to keep an eye on your activity
However, don't fight to get me upvotes from curator that I can't get. Support people who create iteration and I will be happy anyway. I've seen in the past very low quality posts have stratospheric rewards. These are things that are not good for the quality of the platform. Luckily things are better at Steemit now.
I came to Steemit after watching a video on YouTube, with the thought that I can drive more traffic to my tutorials.
It wasn't the case.
I can't understand why, but WoX (maybe Steemit in general) really feels like a community. There is something addictive about this place.
The people here are super interesting.
It is not artificial like other social networks. People actually show their life and nature, and not just "fun" moments.
I understand what you mean, luckily it is indeed when being active on WOX people can meet people and communicate on regular basis, which is different from Twitter or Instagram. Here you can really talk and exchange your thoughts. I think recently there are less artists in general it is like blogging place. But at least you still can share your art here too. You are a real gain for our Community and for Steemit in general!

While in "regular" social networks the owner (Facebook, Twitter, etc.) takes care of everything, here it is people like you that keep things in order, both to make it a live place, and a safe place.
