The diary game 09/02/25: working on Sunday- performing Endoscopy
Hello my dear Steemians,
Since we were back from winter holiday I had very busy weeks, untill Friday there were many different shifts one after anotehr and for me the time just flew. I hardly was able to catch up on anything. But on Friday it was a great feeling of accomplishing busy work and starting elective weeks from coming Monday.
I even did not really check if there is any commitments for me for weekend, I am glad that my hubby double checking my diary and reminding me. The same it was this morning, when my hubby woke up at 7 Am and prepared breakfast, he also made extra bread buns that is unusual when we have normal weekend. I made a joke saying if he was so hungry but he answered that it was for my lunch time in Hospital. That time I was a bit surprised and was not sure if I am working today on Sunday, but when I checked my diary I noticed that it is indeed my working Sunday when I do Endoscopy list.
So we have breakfast and shortly after my hubby drove me to work and now after my full working day I am back and enjoying my envening as tomorrow I am back to working week.
This is our main stack that we use and it is from "Olympus" company, the equipment gives wonderful pictures and such great enlargement so that the assessment of findings is very good.
This is our scope itself and that is for upper Gastrointestinal tract, single use and after use goes in sterilisation unit.
The stack has two monitors from both sides of patient's bed so that endoscopist, nurses and even patients also can see everything.
The day went very well, all the procedures went smoothly and we had nice day.
Amiga a decir verdad nunca me había preocupado en conocer esos aparatos, precisamente a mi esposo tiene problemas gástricos, le mandaron un tratamiento por un mes y si todavía persiste la inflamación en el estómago le van a mandar hacer una endoscopia.
